GE 5KS286DAE6072 – GE’s XSD Ultra 841 VSS (Vertical Solid Shaft) Motors are designed for extra severe-duty applications with 2 or 4 poles. They have agency approvals from UL and CSA, suitable for altitudes up to 3300 ft and an ambient temperature of 40ºC. These motors feature low balance/vibration, cast iron bearing caps with sealed protection, and inverter capabilities for PWM operation. They have a cast iron frame, operate at 60Hz, and offer NEMA Premium efficiency.
