Description
Nidec D15V2G – The definite purpose three-phase motors are specifically designed for inverter duty applications with a wide speed range. They are capable of operating in a variable torque range of 20:1 (3-60 Hz) and a constant torque range of 5:1 (12-60 Hz). These motors feature an INVERTER GRADE® insulation system that meets NEMA® MG-1 Part 31 standards, ensuring reliable performance in demanding conditions. With a rolled steel frame (140-320) and cast iron frame (360-440), along with aluminum or cast iron end shields, these motors provide durability and strength. They are designed for 40°C ambient temperature and NEMA Design B performance on 60 Hz sine wave power. The motors are equipped with regreasable bearings, lifting provisions, and double shielded bearings for enhanced reliability. They feature a premium efficient design, special balance, and class F insulation, allowing them to deliver constant horsepower up to 90 Hz. Conversion kits, such as canopy kits, are available for easy installation. For specific guidelines regarding variable frequency drive (VFD) usage, refer to the provided documentation.
